Martyred cameraman Siraj Abishov's brother Shirzad Abishov has been provided with a job in the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" Closed Joint-Stock Company.

According to AzTV's Social Media and PR Department, he has started working as a director of AzTV's Cinema Programs and Dubbing Chief Department.

Shirzad Abishov has written about this on social media: "I have been designated as a director of the Cinema Programs and Dubbing Chief Department of the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC. I express my deep gratitude to chairman of the CJSC Mr. Rovshan. I promise to justify this trust and be worthy of my brother Siraj Abishov." 

Cameraman of Azerbaijan Television Siraj Abishov and correspondent of "AzerTag" Maharram Ibrahimov, who were conducting shootings in the liberated territories, became martyrs as a result of stepping on a landmine on June 4, 2021, on the way to Kalbajar region's Susuzlug village. 

In accordance with President Ilham Aliyev's order dated June 14, 2021, both martyred journalists were awarded the medal "For the service to the Motherland".
