Six war veterans provided with bionic hands

Six war veterans, who lost their upper limbs in the Patriotic War, have been provided with high technology prosthesis by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and and Social Protection of the Population.

Initially, sizes were taken from them by representatives of Iceland's "Össur" Company at the Prosthesis-Orthopedic Production and Rehabilitation Center of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry.

Today, they have been presented high technology prosthesis. Those 6 war veterans have been provided with bionic hands.

At the same time, the preparations are underway to provide 4 more war veterans, whose upper limbs were amputated, with the last generation prosthesis. In the upcoming days, they will also be provided with prosthesis. 

It is planned to provide 29 war veterans, who lost their upper limbs in the Patriotic War, with high technology prosthesis, and 6 of them have already been presented their prosthesis. 

Overall, since December of 2020, 149 war veterans have been provided with the last generation prosthesis.
