President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended on October 4 the groundbreaking ceremony of the secondary school named after academician Mehdi Mehdizade in Jabrayil city. 

The head of state was given information about the conditions to be created at school.

Along with this 145-year-old secondary school, 3 more schools are planned to be constructed in Jabrayil city.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation of the school.

It is noteworthy that the school was commissioned in 1876.
