Leyla Aliyeva's "Open Window" book published in Finnish

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva's book entitled "The Open Window" has been published in Finnish.

According to the State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the "Open Window" book has been published at Finland's "Palladium kirjat" Publishing House. In the preface of the book, readers are given information about Leyla Aliyeva's biography and lyrics, her social and public activity. The book is in 800 copies. 

The "Open Window" book has been translated into Finnish by famous translator, writer, Azerbaijan's honorable artist Tahira Jafarova. Tahira Jafarova is a member of the Finnish Writers Union, CEATL European Translators Union and Fin-Pen Club. She has been working in the Literature and Art Faculty of Tampere University for a long time. She has been engaged in the translation of the Finnish literature for over 20 years. She has translated the children's poems and plays of Finnish poets into the Azerbaijani language. 

So far, she has carried out a lot of works to promote the Azerbaijani literature in Finland.
