The commemoration ceremony of Azerbaijan's National Hero Ilgar Mirzayev has been held. 

According to the Defense Ministry, a group of servicemen of the Defense Ministry have visited the grave of Azerbaijan's National Hero Ilgar Mirzayev who became a martyr in July of 2020 in the battles in the direction of Tovuz region. 

The memory of the martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's sovereignty, territorial integrity and freedom of its lands, has been honored with a minute of silence.

At the event, it has been talked about Ilgar Mirzayev's glorious life path, his patriotism, bravery and heroism.

It has highlighted that Ilgar Mirzayev will always live in the memory of the Azerbaijani people and that he is a role model for the future generation.
