The Hungarian Embassy in Azerbaijan intends to expand cooperation with "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC.

According to the International Relations Department of AzTV, discussions in this regard were held, proposals were voiced during the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan Viktor Szederkenyi and chairman of the Television Rovshan Mammadov.

Recalling the visit of Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto to Azerbaijan, the Ambassador noted that the Minister had given instructions regarding the expansion of cooperation between Hungary's first channel and Azerbaijan Television. The importance of the fulfillment of all the articles of the agreement signed between Hungary's MTVA and "Duna" TV channels and AzTV on July 17, 2020, was highlighted at the meeting. It was underlined that concrete steps would be taken for the exchange of experience, documentaries and feature films.

Rovshan Mammadov expressed gratitude for the attention to the TV channel chaired by him and noted that AzTV was working hard for expanding international relations and could achieve close ties with numerous influential TV channels of the world. To promote Azerbaijan at the international arena, AzTV has launched official cooperation with 7 leading TV companies of the world over the last 2 years.
