To prevent the wide spread of the coronavirus in Azerbaijan, preventive measures against coronavirus patients are underway.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs, on April 3-4, police officers detained 12 active coronavirus patients in public places across the country. 

Police officers held explanatory conversations with them, returned them to their places of residence complying with the medical procedures.

A criminal case has been launched against Baku resident T.Mammadov, Shabran resident Sh.Balabayov and Balakan resident A.Tahirova who have left their places of residence despite being on home treatment. 

The investigation is underway regarding the other citizens.
