2, 597 people have been infected with COVID-19, 1, 354 people have recovered in Azerbaijan within the last 24 hours.

According to the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 23 people, who earlier tested positive for the coronavirus, have died. 

So far, a total of 83, 994 people have contracted the coronavirus in the country. 59, 465 of them have recovered, 1, 053 people died, and 23, 476 people are under ongoing treatment. 

Over the past period, 1, 562, 442 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan. The number of tests conducted today is 12, 874.
